Our summer camp programme aims to help students transition from primary to secondary school through exciting, engaging and innovative academic and recreational activities.  Let Teachus take care of your students this summer!

A fun and enriched academic curriculum developed by leading academic professionals, allowing students the right set of tools to begin their new school!

Teachus loves nothing more than helping students achieve.  Our programme has been designed to allow students to take part in extra curricula activities ranging from sports, drama to our well planned and highly rated day trips where the fun never ends!

Our structured educational programme are catered to helped all students from SEN to G&T. Given the COVID-19 pandemic we have a strong focus on Catch Up and consolidating learning to make sure students are attaining baseline levels. We want to students to catch up and then to be able to use their consolidated knowledge.

Gaming of all sorts has been loved by student from all generations. Our computer programming workshops give them the opportunity to build their own computer games!  How exciting! Game on!

A sizeable part of our programme focuses on sports and drama where students will engage in different recreational activities, from football, cricket, netball to swimming!  We hold healthy eating workshops and raise confidence through our drama sessions which tie in well with the underlying themes in our literacy scheme of work.

Restrictions permitting, we usually organise exciting day trips to West End Musicals, Theme Parks and Museums.

Based in London but operating camps across England, we are a dedicated team of educational specialists that provide transitional camps for students entering into secondary school. Teachus is the number one choice for schools who want to run transition summer camps, and our transitional programmes aim to ensure that student are ready to face the challenges that secondary school can present, both socially and academically.

Schools may already be running their own summer camps, however the benefit of working with us is that we pool together ideas and resources from multiple school, providing a higher level of service for a lower cost. In 2013, on the last day of the programme, students took part in an ultimate extravaganza; a variety show presenting the drama work that student had practiced over the two weeks. The event took place at Alexandra Palace with approximately 3,500 attendees with special appearances from the following celebrity lookalikes, ‘The Queen’, ‘Simon Cowell’ and ‘Johnny Depp’.

Teachus has received glowing feedback from Government officials including, the Minister for Children and Families (in 2012), the Department for Education (in 2013) and the Minister for DEFRA (in 2015) along with then Mayor of London (and now Prime Minister of the United Kingdom) Boris Johnson.

Our aim is to continue the good work we have done and to promote the transition summer camps throughout England, helping students take the next step into secondary school life.
